It’s the time of year for Christmas cookie baking, cookie exchanges, bake sales and LOTS of family gatherings.
There’s an abundance of sweet treats, sugar, lots and lots of sugar, and unhealthy processed ingredients included in your favorite holiday recipes.
Just look at any traditional cookie recipe and you’ll see ingredients such as, all-purpose flour, some sort of sugar, butter and candy pieces. Not to mention the added toppings like sprinkles, icing, powdered sugar, etc.
