Why is our Oolong so rare and special?
All of our Oolong is picked early, at the prime time for the greatest nutrients and antioxidants, which is why it is so rare and special. Where else will you find such a pure, healthy, high-quality tea like ours? You definitely won’t find it in the grocery store.

Drinking some cheaper supermarket blends could be bad for your health, according to a research study at the University of Derby in the UK.
There are worries that the tea blends contain enough fluoride to put people over their daily recommended levels (drinking at least four cups a day), increasing the risk of skeletal and dental illnesses.¹
Although fluoride is considered an essential nutrient for preventing tooth decay and promoting healthy bone growth, too much flouride in the body can have detrimental effects. It can cause fluorosis, which can damage bones and teeth. Fluorosis usually only occurs in countries where there are high natural levels of fluoride in drinking water – like the U.S. The guidelines for the amount of fluoride considered safe in our country is already too high, you don’t want to add to it by drinking more fluoride and not even realizing it.
It is important to note that all teas produce some amount of fluoride, but the concentrations vary between types and times picked.
The longer the leaves are left to grow the more fluoride they contain.
When it comes to harvesting the leaves, younger tea leaves are used to make higher-quality premium tea. Older, fluoride-rich leaves are chosen to make the cheaper economy brands.
